Security and Confidentiality
For Net Global BackupSecurity is priority: protection employed by our system is the same used by top rank International Banks.
Every file sent to Net Global Backup`servers is ciphered and compressed before sending. Nobody can read them. Anybody tempting to access them without the encryption key defined by you will meet illegible and indefinable files. To warrant confidentiality, our system is able to configure with both AES/ Triple DES or Twofish encryption algorithms. Those ciphers are used with highest success from many years now, and there is no report about any successful attack to files encrypted with them. Additionally, our system allows executing commands pre and post backup. Using a pre backup command, client can execute its own additional encryption algorithm. Once the encryption code is defined by the user, during backup process the data, compressed and encrypted, are sent via Internet to be stored in our servers. The protocol used in this process is TTPS, which employs a SSL Security Certificate (Secure Socket Layers)128 bits by secured port. |
